Wild Walkers hike the Three Peaks for Harrogate Homeless Project
The intrepid Wild Walkers - AKA Tasha, Emily, David and Jacob from Wild & Co – took on the mighty Yorkshire 3 Peaks this September to raise money for Harrogate Homeless Project.
They hiked 24 miles and climbed over 5,000 feet, tackling Pen Y Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough, all in the knowledge that their support and fundraising would be helping Harrogate Homeless Project.
The weather was cool and misty and the going was tough but they still managed to make it to the end of the route in less than 12 hours.
They raised over £500 for the charity with the support of colleagues, clients and friends, which will help to provide people experiencing homelessness with a safe place to stay and all the support they need to move towards independent living.
