Heal Medical and Wellness Spa offers an innovative blend of medical treatments and beauty therapies in Harrogate’s exclusive Montpellier Quarter. It was founded by podiatrist Oliver Highland-Edmonds and his partner, Matthew, who turned to Wild & Co to support their ambitious plans for growth.

When Liz began working with Oliver and Matthew they didn’t have a clear picture of the business’s financial situation.
“They were both very disheartened because they had inaccurate information and thought they were doing a lot worse than they actually were,” recalls Liz.
“When we sat down and unpicked the numbers they started to see what was possible and the excitement began to return.”
How Wild and Co have helped
Liz keeps in regular contact with Oliver and Matthew and acts as their FD, helping them improve profitability and cashflow and make strategic decisions.
Oliver explains: “We speak every couple of weeks and sit down together for a detailed finance meeting every quarter to review figures and measure performance against our 12-month forecast.
“If I want to take on another employee Liz can help me work out how much we need to increase revenue by before it’s feasible to add another salary to the business.”
Heal now has experienced beauticians, hairdressers, nail technicians, sports therapists, masseurs, acupuncturists and reflexologists working under the same roof alongside podiatry which offers customers a unique mix of medical and wellness treatments in a therapeutic spa-style setting.
Liz says: “Many of the changes we have made have impacted positively on Oliver and Matthew’s personal life as well as their business. Most importantly they now have clarity over their finances which has given them the confidence to invest and take decisions that will generate profit and growth.”
